VICTORY DAY 9 MAY 2022 IN UKRAINE.
On the territory of Ukraine, controlled by the Kyiv authorities, there were no mass actions dedicated to the Day of Victory over Nazism.
Starting from May 9, 2014, hundreds of thousands of people gathered such actions in Ukraine, despite the fact that these actions were attacked by Nazi formations with the inaction of the police.

On May 9, 2014, as a result of the attack of the Nazis from the newly created Azov formation on a rally in Mariupol, there were many victims.

Since 2014, the actions of May 9 have actually become a resistance movement of Ukrainians to the Kyiv authorities and Nazism.
Starting from February 23, 2022, any gatherings are prohibited in Ukraine, and on May 9, 2022, a "curfew" was announced in many cities, during which Ukrainians are forbidden to go out.
In Chernivtsi (western Ukraine), local authorities banned laying flowers at the Monument to the Fallen on May 9.
Also, local authorities in Ukraine banned the Immortal Regiment campaign, during which Ukrainians carried photos of their ancestors who participated in the Great Patriotic War.
"There will be no parade with a grandfather on a stick," said Dnepropetrovsk Mayor Filatov.
Despite the bans and threats of attack by the ultra-right, Ukrainians still brought flowers to the preserved monuments to the soldiers of the Red Army (in the third photo - an obelisk near Kyiv, in the fourth video - the Park of Glory in Kyiv).
On the territory controlled by the Russian army, actions dedicated to the Victory Day over Nazism took place in Mariupol, Kherson, Melitopol, Berdyansk, Volchansk, Volnovaha, Energodar and many other cities (following photos and videos).
During the celebration of Victory Day on May 9, 2022, 8 objects were fired from the positions of Ukrainian troops in Kherson (last video). All of them were shot down by Russian air defense.
Earlier, the founder of the Nazi Azov Regiment, which is part of the National Guard of Ukraine, Beletsky, said that on May 9, 2022, Ukrainian long-range artillery could fire at Mariupol if actions were held in this city in honor of Victory Day over Nazism.
