About TGViewer

TGViewer is a free tool for reading public Telegram channels without the Telegram app or an account. Search a channel name or paste a t.me link and you get the channel's recent posts, photos, videos, link previews, reactions and subscriber count in a clean page. It also publishes live rankings of public channels by category.

TGViewer is an independent, single-operator project built in 2026. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram. “Telegram” is a trademark of Telegram FZ-LLC.

Where the data comes from

Telegram publishes a public web preview for every public channel at t.me/s/<channel>, readable by anyone without logging in. TGViewer fetches that page, strips scripts and tracking, and renders the same public content. There is no login, no private API, and no access to anything a logged-out visitor couldn’t see on t.me.

• Public channels only: private channels, groups, and channels with the web preview disabled publish nothing, so they cannot be shown.
• No media hosting: photos and videos load directly from Telegram’s CDN; TGViewer stores none of it.
• Roughly 30 minutes fresh: channel pages are cached briefly, so what you see is at most about half an hour old.

Rankings

Rankings cover 54 curated public channels, sorted live by subscriber count. They are not a census of Telegram, which has no official public ranking.

What TGViewer doesn’t do

• No accounts, sign-ups or passwords.
• No downloading, re-hosting or archiving of channel content.
• No selling of personal information (see the privacy policy).
