🔺 Call for applications: competetive selection for the "Lübeck school"

➡️Tashkent State Medical University announces the launch of the competitive selection process for admission to the Lübeck School, which will be established on the basis of the Humanmedizin (Human Medicine) programme of the University of Lübeck, Germany.

🔍The competitive selection is open to first-year students admitted to the General Medicine programme for the 2026–2027 academic year who:
🔘are citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
🔘demonstrate a high level of English language proficiency or hold a valid English language proficiency certificate.

✈️Participation in the selection process is voluntary. Applications are to be submitted via an online platform.

🔹Selection procedure:

✈️Candidates will be assessed on a 100-point scale, distributed as follows:
1. Admission results for the General Medicine programme – 20 points;
2. Essay – 80 points.

🔍 The essay will assess the candidate’s understanding of the given topic and the depth of its development; ability to think independently, logically, and critically; capacity to present a well-reasoned personal and professional perspective; approach to professional growth and self-directed learning; and proficiency in written English.

🔍 The essay must be written independently, in English, and within a specified time limit, under the supervision of representatives of the University of Lübeck.

✈️ The essay topic, allotted writing time, required length, and assessment criteria will be communicated to candidates prior to the start of the writing session.

🔍Minimum passing score: 70 points.

🔺Among candidates who achieve a minimum score of 70 points, the 60 highest-ranked candidates will be recommended for enrolment in the Lübeck School.

🔘Each candidate recommended for enrolment will enter into a training agreement under the Lübeck School programme.

🔺Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be awarded a state-recognised bachelor’s degree diploma, granting them the right to practise professionally in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

✈️ Instruction at the Lübeck School will be delivered in English by faculty members who have completed professional training at the University of Lübeck, Germany.

from 8 to 12 October 2026 (deadline: 22:00 on the final day).

🔍 Applications will not be accepted after 22:00 on 12 October.

✈️ The selection process is conducted in accordance with the principles of impartiality, fairness, equal opportunity, transparency and academic integrity. Candidates who disagree with the results have the right to lodge an appeal in accordance with the established procedure.
