ℹ️: For the third time in 2 weeks, a Russian jet-drone completed a flight deep into western Ukraine.

- On the 27th of August, a Geran-4 flew all the way from Crimea to Volyn Oblast, covering a distance of approximately 950 kilometers.
- The flight was likely a reconnaissance or testing mission. In recent weeks, 2 similar flights ended around Rivne city.
- These unusual missions have prompted warnings from western Ukrainian authorities.
- On the 21st of August, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk stated that Russia is likely preparing to strike western Ukraine in the near future.
- On the 28th of August, similar warnings were issued by Ukrainian media outlets, claiming that Russia is preparing a strike campaign against warehouses in western Ukraine akin to the ongoing campaign in the east.
- If Russia can standardize long-distance jet-drones, a large portion of western Ukraine will be within the range of drones and newly acquired ballistic missiles (Iskander-1000, KN-30) by the coming winter.
