🇾🇪: Update on the Yemeni Civil War (with Suriyak Maps as a reference):

- Houthi forces continued advancing towards the encircled city of Taizz while facing stiff resistance. Several key mountains were recently captured west of the city.
- According to Houthi media, Saudi aircraft launched 59 air/missile strikes in support of the Yemeni government during the 8th of October. Targets included the Houthi-controlled cities of Hodeidah and Sanaa,
- Clashes between PLC and Houthi forces continued around the coastal city of Dhurab.
- Clashes are also ongoing between Yemeni and Houthi forces east of the fortified city of Marib.
- Houthi missile strikes have continued targeting Riyadh Airport, destroying an Airbus A321 (image 2). Some airlines are decreasing their presence in Saudi Arabia due to these attacks.
- New security alerts were issued by U.S. embassies in relation to the escalating situation in Yemen.
- Saudi Arabia is seeking support from Pakistan, Syria, and others.
