- At its peak, the storm was a category 3 hurricane with sustained wind speeds of 195 km/h and a low pressure of 958 millibars.
- The storm made landfall over eastern Florida and is now moving towards Alabama, Georgia, and other parts of the eastern coast of the U.S.
- Due to powerful "El Nino" conditions limiting tropical development, Isaias was the first major hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season.
