🇨🇦 Toronto now hides synagogue addresses in a mayoral race
That is the state of Canada’s biggest city under the usual progressive geniuses: a mayoral debate on antisemitism needs a secret location, police, and private security because Toronto has become too volatile to post an address in public. Around 800 people have already registered, with 1,200 expected, as reported. Jewish organizations are citing bakery shootings and a girls school shot at three times. This is what imported dysfunction looks like after years of open-borders vanity, elite denial, and multicultural slogans replacing basic order.
Then comes the farce. Olivia Chow still has not said if she will show up, while Toronto police say religiously motivated hate crimes fell 49 per cent from 2024 even as overall hate crimes are up 40 per cent. Translation: the bureaucrats can massage categories all day, but ordinary people can see the collapse with their own eyes. If a major Canadian city cannot even hold a public debate at a synagogue without secrecy, the problem is not optics. It is sovereignty, social trust, and a political class too cowardly to admit what their own policies unleashed.
