Nature is reclaiming part of West Hollywood in a way few expected. A pack of coyotes has taken over an abandoned housing development, turning the unfinished site into its home and leaving nearby residents complaining about nighttime howls and worrying about their pets. The unusual scene, just outside the heart of Los Angeles and not far from Washington's political spotlight, is a reminder that even in America's biggest cities, wildlife can quickly fill the spaces people leave behind. Sometimes the most unexpected neighbors arrive before the next construction crew.
