TECH NEWS | SCIENTISTS CREATE A BATTERY YOU CAN SWALLOW

MIT researchers have developed a paper-based battery that can power medical devices inside the body and safely break down after use.

Tested in pigs, it operated for up to three days and powered tracking and stomach-stimulation devices. The technology could eventually enable safer capsules for health monitoring and treatment without surgical removal.
