TECH NEWS | THIS ROBOT BUILT A LASER IN 30 MINUTES

MIT researchers developed a robotic lab that assembles and fine-tunes optical experiments. In one demonstration, it completed 50 movements to build a working laser cavity in just 30 minutes.

When components were disturbed, the system automatically restored alignment. The technology could accelerate testing of new displays, solar cells and camera components.
