MediaTek has unveiled the Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on TSMC’s advanced 2nm technology.

The company claims a 51% boost in on-device generative AI performance over its predecessor. Upcoming phones from Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo are expected to use the new chip family — bringing fresh competition to flagship smartphones.
