🪽 #teddie: We need to create more utility for stickers. More integrations across the community-built ecosystem. My DMs are open for any other mini app that wants to cook here. A sticker can become an identifier for a community. Holding one could unlock gated chats, better DeFi tiers, gaming skins, tournament access, rewards, airdrops, loyalty perks, voting, quests, allowlists.. access to so many experiences across Mini Apps. Everything that’s possible with NFTs. Projects can use them for marketing campaigns and user onboarding, then continue rewarding the people who collected them. Of course, we all want official Telegram integration similar to Gifts but that part is currently in the hands of Pasha. But even away from utility, if you’re able to build a strong enough community with diamond hands and collective energy then you can create in-demand collections. One big area of opportunity in particular is gaming. Stickers & gaming have a brilliant crossover. Make Telegram Gaming Great Again. The tap-to-earn era showed that Telegram can onboard millions to a game. Now we just have to improve the “gaming” part. Goodies is especially well placed, we have a huge roster of brands. What happens if all of their stickers are used to unlock gaming items, and they all promote one game? It will be another viral meta and natural next phase.
🪽 #tonvoice: You’ve talked about an event with Pudgy Penguins for a long time, but it kept getting postponed for various reasons. Are you still planning to hold the event, and if so, are there any approximate dates?
🪽 #teddie: Pudgy Penguins are always cooking. It’s not about one event. It’s about continued participation in the Telegram ecosystem at the right moments as the platform evolves. Pudgy are one of the best internet IP builders in the world and one of the few brands that have genuinely conquered groupchats and social messaging. They understand that distribution layer better than most and they continue to keep a keen eye on Telegram. So yes, the waddle continues. There are ideas and events in the pipeline.
