🇬🇧🇸🇦 UK CLOSE TO BACKING SAUDI ARABIA AGAINST HOUTHIS – Drawn Into Another Yemen War

Prime Minister Andy Burnham is leaning toward offering military support to Saudi Arabia – including possible aerial refueling – as the kingdom comes under frequent Houthi attack. It would be one of his first major military decisions since taking office.

🇬🇧 The UK may provide aerial‑refueling support to the Saudi military – and will lobby other nations to do the same.

🎯 London claims aiding Riyadh would stabilise the region and reduce threats to ships in the Bab‑el‑Mandeb Strait.

🇺🇸 The US has so far refused to provide military support beyond intelligence – it wants to wind down the Iran war and avoid new escalation.
