❗️Brent crude tops $102 as regional tensions fuel supply fears
Brent crude rose above $102 a barrel on Thursday as escalating tensions in West Asia raised concerns over potential disruptions to regional oil supplies, Mettis Global reported.
Brent crude climbed 0.88% to $102.42 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) traded at $89.93 per barrel.
Markets were driven by reports that the US is considering resuming large-scale attacks against Iran in the coming weeks, including possible strikes ahead of next month's midterm elections.
Recent retaliatory Ansarallah attacks on Saudi airports and Iranian actions against tankers in the Strait of Hormuz have also contributed to heightened supply concerns.
