❗️The Syrian president's media adviser, Ahmad Muwaffaq Zaidan, has rejected reports saying that Saudi Arabia had asked Syria to deploy troops to the Kingdom or Yemen.

In a social media post, Zaidan described the reports as false.

“The security of Saudi Arabia is that of the Gulf and of Syria, and we stand with our people in the land of the Two Holy Mosques with all strength and resolve,” Zaidan said in a post on X. “But what some media outlets are promoting about the Kingdom’s request to send Syrian forces to Saudi Arabia or Yemen is a lie and has no basis in truth.”
