Current TC Policy for Foreign CPL/ATPL Conversion on B737: Standalone Skill Test (Un-annotated) vs. Full PPC/Type Course?

Hey all,
Foreign B737-800 FO here (2,000+ hrs) looking to convert to a Canadian ATPL(A) as an individual applicant.
A few questions on Transport Canada (TC) policies:
Standalone 2-hour Skill Test: Does TC still allow individual applicants to do a standalone 2-hour test in a 737 sim for an un-annotated ATPL? I've heard TC might be holding off on this.
PPC / Full Course: If standalone isn't option, do I have to do a full B737 type rating / PPC course?
Has anyone done this recently as an individual candidate (at CAE, etc.)?
Appreciate any insights from Canadian pilots or ACPs! Thanks!
