Failed Commercial SE Checkride

As the title implies, I just failed my commercial SE checkride. Passed the oral. I failed on the flight portion due to going around on the power off 180. The DPE even told me that everything else was sat, therefore I continued after the failed power off 180. I knew as soon as I put full throttle in that I messed up. I totally forgot it was a one time maneuver due to it technically being a simulated emergency. I’m so mad at myself due to failing for such a dumb reason. I passed my ppl and ifr first try. This is my first checkride failure. I know I’ll pass next time, but a failure being on my record now has me anxious. Mostly posting this to vent, but any advice would be appreciated.

EDIT: Thank you to everyone clarifying that it isn’t a simulated engine failure and is actually energy management and performance maneuver.
