Researchers developed an mRNA immunotherapy that combined five immune-stimulating cytokine mRNAs with three tumor-associated antigen mRNAs to treat pancreatic cancer in mice. About 50% of treated mice achieved complete tumor remission and remained disease-free for up to a year after treatment ended, suggesting the therapy generated durable immune memory against the cancer.
