Why is it important to know how to say no? Part 2.

▫️To learn to say no, you save a lot of personal time. When you always owe everyone something, you don't have time for yourself. You only do what needs to be done urgently, and the rest of your time is spent with other people. This way of life makes it impossible to get to the next level, because all analysis and prediction is eliminated. It is very important to be able to spend time on yourself.

▫️Stop doing every request and you will keep the right to choose for yourself. Think of those fifty-year-old men in hypermarkets, who, like children, weaving behind his wife and comply with her every command. That's what the consequences are for the nice guys. The longer you live this way, the more submissive you become, because you're left with fewer independent decisions.

▫️ By learning to say no, you increase the value of your consent. When you help everyone, you become something of a support person. No one thinks about your feelings, your time, or your resources. Everyone only wants your help. At the same time, no one is considering your terms. But when you help selectively, it increases the value of your help and the reputation of those you help.

Therefore, the focus of attention, first of all, should always be on those people who are willing to accept you and without much benefit, who are themselves willing to give you value and will be sincerely grateful if you can help them. And then everyone else. With this approach, you will be able to filter your surroundings, keeping only reliable people, strengthening your character and being able to give much more to those who will deserve it.
