How not to show up as an idiot in a conversation with a girl. Part 2.
▫️ Talk about yourself.
It doesn't have to be a monologue and it shouldn't take much time. Just talk about your interests, your job, something funny that happened to you last week - there shouldn't be too much information. A little bio will be enough. That said, keep your focus on the girl, not yourself, when you tell your story. Even better, if you insert information about yourself in small portions throughout the conversation. For example, a girl talks about liking dogs, and you can tell her that you have one that you walk every day - offer to join that walk next time.
▫️ Use "conversational potential."
If a girl talks to you, she definitely has something to tell you. Such a conversation can only come to a standstill because of your foolishness, and yet you could have used its resource. For example, if your girlfriend tells you that she's tired, she works too much, she needs a vacation, then you can certainly roll your eyes and wait until her complaints are over, but it's better to listen and ask her about the problems at work. Yes, girls can often complain, but it is their complaints that can serve as a launching pad for a normal and meaningful conversation on a variety of topics. You just have to use the potential of these complaints in the right way.
