Israeli Defense Minister:

“Erdogan RTErdogan is a paper sultan who is strong on antisemitic incitement speeches but weak on actions. I suggest he stop meddling with Israel. The State of Israel is strong and knows how to take care of itself—we are not the Kurds and the helpless ones whom he is abusing in Turkey even in these very days.

This week, Erdogan stood at the UN podium and delivered an antisemitic and inciting speech in which he once again accused the State of Israel of being responsible for the fact that ‘Gaza is the most inhumane concentration camp of our time.’

The man who embraces and funds the Hamas murderers and rapists accuses Israel of acting in its defense against a terrorist organization. Erdogan knows how to speechify and fantasize about establishing the Ottoman Empire, but when it comes time to act, he reveals himself as a paper sultan.

He has not responded to this day to missiles launched by Iran at Turkish soil, and now he has signed a ‘Mecca agreement’ to defend Saudi Arabia, but when the Houthis fire missiles toward the city of Mecca—and he is called upon to fulfill it—he simply disappears.

I suggest he stop meddling with Israel—Israel is strong and knows how to take care of itself—we are not the Kurds and the helpless ones whom he is abusing in Turkey even in these very days.”
