🔹 ...The third time, Zoroaster beheld a man of the utmost beauty and goodness. That man was the Amesha Spenta Bahman. Bahman held in his hand a white branch; that branch was the spirit (menog) of the religion, and it was the spirit of peace, and it showed that one must walk through the world without causing harm.
When the fourth time came, Zoroaster hurried to the Ushan River and drew the Haoma plant up from the water.
As Zoroaster was coming out of the river, Bahman turned toward him and asked:
“Who are you? From what family?”
He answered:
“I am Zoroaster, of the Spitama family.”
