Haluk Bayraktar, General Manager of Baykar, which develops Turkey's famous UAVs "Bayraktar TB2", was awarded the Mali National Order for his contributions and services to Mali.

The medal was presented to Haluk Bayraktar by Malian president Assimi Goita himself at the ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Bamako, the capital of Mali. At the ceremony, Bayraktar was thanked for his contributions to Mali.

The Mali National Order, the country's highest decoration, began to be awarded to people who made significant contributions to the country after Mali was liberated from French colonialism in 1960.
