🇨🇲 Cameroon authorises $391 million World Bank loan
Cameroon’s President Paul Biya has authorised a €347.5 million, or about $390.90 million, loan agreement with the World Bank’s International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the Douala-Bangui Economic Corridor project, according to a presidential decree issued on Friday.
The corridor links the port city of Douala in Cameroon with Bangui in the Central African Republic, making it a key regional trade route.
