🇱🇾 Libya's military seizes narcotics after firefight with smugglers

Libya's military said on Friday that one of its brigades seized more than 1.3 million narcotic pills after a firefight with smugglers in a town in the country's southeast. Three soldiers were injured in the clash, according to the military.

The incident highlights continued smuggling and security challenges in southern and southeastern Libya, where state forces have long faced trafficking networks across remote border areas.
