🇲🇦 Morocco's king appoints first woman PM following Sept. 23 election

King Mohammed VI on Tuesday appointed Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri as Morocco's first woman prime minister after her liberal-centrist party finished first in the September 23 parliamentary election, according to the royal palace.

The appointment follows Morocco's parliamentary vote held on September 23.
