🇳🇬 Dangote Refinery IPO opens to Nigerian investors

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has launched an initial public offering allowing Nigerians to invest with a minimum subscription of N5,250. The company is offering 4.1 billion ordinary shares at N525 each in a deal valued at about N2.15 trillion if fully subscribed. The offer opened on September 14 and is scheduled to close on October 13.

Speaking at the opening gong ceremony and Facts Behind the Offer presentation at the Nigerian Exchange in Lagos, FCMB Group Chief Executive Ladi Balogun said the IPO gives Nigerians access to a world-scale business and reflects the deepening of Nigeria's capital market.
