🇬🇭 Western countries increase support for slavery reparations, Ghana says

Ghana said on Wednesday that support is growing among Western countries for reparations linked to the nearly four-century-long trans-Atlantic slave trade. The statement comes as Accra continues to lead an international campaign on the issue.

Ghana has been one of the main African voices pressing for reparations over the historical legacy of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
