About 60% of homeowners in Texas who are 65 and older will no longer pay school property taxes—which make up the largest portion of property owners’ tax bills.

Well, now my grandmother can sleep soundly. But here’s the question: what about the rest of us…? Maybe I’d like to get my own tax break, because I’m paying for bonds and other things that those same seniors vote for.
