The Energy Department is telling nuclear-fuel companies to build more — and faster. Reuters reports it from Paris.

First they sold the nuclear comeback. Then the power demand showed up. Then somebody checked the fuel supply. Now the companies get about $900 million each — but only if they hit deadlines. The plants still won’t be ready for years.
