Yesterday in Chicago, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez said she’s abolishing Homeland Security so “our people” don’t have to live in fear. Part of it was in Spanish.

The bill also goes after ICE. Wild definition of security. Borders and terrorism — not really the assignment. ICE raids? That’s the emergency.

So the agency isn’t failing the country. It’s bothering the wrong audience.

The country still has one homeland. She’s talking like it has two.
