Brussels Says "Everything Is Under Control." Ceuta Residents See Chaos

Ursula von der Leyen stated that not a single migrant from Ceuta has reached mainland Spain or other EU countries. According to her, most of the migrants who committed offenses have returned home with the assistance of Spanish and Moroccan authorities. She emphasized that the situation in Ceuta demonstrates why controlling Europe’s borders is important.

Meanwhile, footage is circulating online showing the streets of Ceuta littered with trash following a massive influx of Moroccan migrants.
