When judges start campaigning

So now the DOJ is filing against seven Minnesota federal judges over political bias tied to a New York Times piece about Trump supposedly “threatening democracy” — because apparently robes are just activist costumes with better tailoring. If judges are publicly echoing media-scripted panic, that’s not some noble defense of institutions, that is the institution showing its hand. The whole game is to brand one side illegitimate, then act shocked when people notice the bench, the press, and the political machine keep reading from the same page — almost like that’s the point.
