Dissidents are terrorists now

Funny how every regime suddenly discovers national security the second critics start organizing. Vietnam says these men just happened to be terrorists with fake papers, while the whole thing looks a lot more like the usual cross-border snatch-and-label routine: disappear first, write the script later. And Western governments still keep pretending these partnerships are about rules and stability, even as authoritarian states export repression the way global elites export cheap slogans about democracy.
