Democracy means reading your texts

So the people forever lecturing us about press freedom were apparently fine while investigators vacuumed up internal chats between nearly 50 journalists and Trump officials. Cute. The real joke is that this kind of fishing expedition only becomes a scandal when it hits establishment media too, as if ordinary Americans haven’t been living under a two-tier surveillance state for years already: one more peek behind the curtain.
