Talked to a "crypto grandpa" at some events the other day. One word led to another, turns out the grandpa is... 35. And Phil is 39... so I'm basically a crypto great-grandpa 🤢

Seriously though, in conversations with crypto folks I realized one thing: the deeper you go, the thinner the budgets. Fewer fat whales at gatherings, the industry is restructuring, regulations are breathing down your neck. Flash your passport at a Russian crypto exchange = get ready to risk a fine of up to 40% for illegal currency transactions. And overall there's a kind of hidden bear market, a lot of people are tired and losing faith, but Robin is giving many people FOMO.

And let me tell you something - right now is a fucking great time for dev and building. While everyone else is shrinking, the market feeds those who launch and build their own product, not just hot air.

I was just talking about the last event where instead of the promised 2000, only 700 showed up. Here the organizers are claiming 1500+ participants and 30+ speakers. Still, I'm going to check it out in person to see if it's real or if I'll be disappointed. Besides, I need to pass through Moscow on my way further anyway...

Fuck it, time to drop a post about the day-to-day...

The other day Nik (our top lead dev) came down to visit gorgeous St. Pete. And yeah, I genuinely think St. Pete in the summer is the top city on the planet, especially for its architecture... the rest of Europe and everywhere else can just smoke on the sidelines. It's unique, an absolute gem. As a guy who loves clocking 20k steps a day and has traveled practically the whole globe, I stand by that 100%.

Over the last few days, Nik and I hit up a couple of events. What can I say... I'll keep it real, no sugarcoating. The only thing that carried the whole vibe was the venue itself. Out of the 2k people they hyped up, there were maybe 700 tops (and that’s counting everyone who came and went). At any given moment, there were no more than 300 people chilling in a pretty massive space.

The rave was a whole different joke. AKA the afterparty. Look, zoomers, we’re boomers, and we genuinely don't get how you can dance and vibe to such harsh, hardcore techno. The grand total of two and a half people on the dance floor was proof enough.

But Aster on the 27th actually delivered. Super cozy vibe, didn't feel like standard St. Pete at all - felt like we teleported to another continent. They flew in some guys from Italy, we clicked with them perfectly. Pretty sure we’ll hit them up for a visit sometime. Drink some limoncello...

All in all, it was a crazy good and packed week for the TokenLab crew. The infra won't build itself, but sometimes you just gotta surface for air💃

Theory ends where the real meat grinder and FCFS ingress begin. 🩸

In the last post we announced Fomohood and the new meta of EVM launches. And while the launchpad smart contract was going through its final shakedown (first $100k in volume, stress-testing our algorithms mechanics), we decided to pop the hood and show the core we're building this all on.

The whole math is baked into a super-fast web terminal. The algorithm analyzes the info space in real time and offers you to create a token based on fresh news right in the interface. You just pick the mode: dev-only (clean launch + your buyback of supply) or snipe engine (launch + sniper wallets attached). The engine packs contract creation and your dev-buy into one atomic transaction. No sandwich attacks from snipers. You launch the coin and take your cut without frontrunning. Dedicated nodes are rented and we wrote our own HFT engine from scratch in Go.

⚙️ What's under the hood of the battle version:

State is read directly through Yellowstone gRPC - we see deploys before they hit the public.

Execution goes through Jito bundles with auto-fallback to direct channels.

No Telegram bots. All the wild math, bonding curve calculations, and online parsing are integrated right into the old-school, ultra-fast web terminal. The algorithm analyzes the news feed in real time and offers you a token concept right in the interface. Everything is managed in the browser.

Right now we've packed the execution logic and heavy nodes into a closed binary (B2B solution), and exposed a clean REST API outward.

Real retail liquidity is looking for clean channels right now. So first news: we officially rolled out Robinhood network support.

I'll be straight - EVM is not Solana. The mechanics work completely differently, so me and Nikita had to rework part of the core from scratch to keep our signature milliseconds. But the software is ready and ticking like a clock.

However, adding the network is just the foundation for something much bigger.

We got tired of watching token creators generate insane volume while mostly platforms, snipers, and creators (including us, yeah) profit from it. So we packed all our HFT experience and DEX understanding into our own launchpad with completely new math:

Launch in a single transaction straight to a live Uniswap V3 pool with instant trading.

Liquidity locked permanently at the contract level (zero rug, no honeypot, full on-chain verification).

Token creator takes a real percentage of swap fees from the entire trading volume. Forever.

The code is written. Tests are in the final stage.

And speaking of the team. While we were grinding through all that dirty server routine, our office zoo got bigger. You know Klafy, who spots latency anomalies with his stare, and our two shibs (Luna and Leo) who got bored of the crypto bear market long ago. But recently, we made the most important transaction of the year - we "devved" a battered stray cat off the street and brought him in. And he turned out to be old (though you can't tell right away), so we named him Ded (Grandpa). Now our house is filled with hilarious phrases like "Time to trim Grandpa's claws" and "Grandpa used the litter box."

So we're not just about hardcore HFT math and squeezing profit from the market - we're also about normal human life.
