Fuck it, time to drop a post about the day-to-day...

The other day Nik (our top lead dev) came down to visit gorgeous St. Pete. And yeah, I genuinely think St. Pete in the summer is the top city on the planet, especially for its architecture... the rest of Europe and everywhere else can just smoke on the sidelines. It's unique, an absolute gem. As a guy who loves clocking 20k steps a day and has traveled practically the whole globe, I stand by that 100%.

Over the last few days, Nik and I hit up a couple of events. What can I say... I'll keep it real, no sugarcoating. The only thing that carried the whole vibe was the venue itself. Out of the 2k people they hyped up, there were maybe 700 tops (and that’s counting everyone who came and went). At any given moment, there were no more than 300 people chilling in a pretty massive space.

The rave was a whole different joke. AKA the afterparty. Look, zoomers, we’re boomers, and we genuinely don't get how you can dance and vibe to such harsh, hardcore techno. The grand total of two and a half people on the dance floor was proof enough.

But Aster on the 27th actually delivered. Super cozy vibe, didn't feel like standard St. Pete at all - felt like we teleported to another continent. They flew in some guys from Italy, we clicked with them perfectly. Pretty sure we’ll hit them up for a visit sometime. Drink some limoncello...

All in all, it was a crazy good and packed week for the TokenLab crew. The infra won't build itself, but sometimes you just gotta surface for air💃
