Regime’s Prague embassy ignores Kim Aris’ request for meeting with mother Aung San Suu Kyi

The Myanmar regime’s embassy in Prague, Czech Republic, on Wednesday declined to accept a letter from Kim Aris, son of imprisoned civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi, in which he asked the regime for permission to meet with his mother.
“I am not asking for a favor. I am demanding a mother’s freedom and a son’s fundamental right to see her,” Kim stated on Facebook.
He warned world leaders engaging with coup president Min Aung Hlaing that “behind every diplomatic meeting [with the regime] are millions of people who basic human rights continued to be violated.”
