The Belgorod Brit tackles the thorny issue of who owns the land. In the film, he introduces you to the radical English politician 'Freeborn' John Lilburn. He was a pain in the arse for all those who disagreed with his principled stand on property, based on his interpretation of the Holy Bible. He managed to make enemies of the Royalists by fighting with the Parliamentarians in the British Civil Wars, and then fell out with his former deputy Commander, Oliver Cromwell. He even fell out with his supporters over how far to take the idea that God gave the land to all the people, not just a few. He revived the idea that land belonged to those who use it, and the only landlord was God himself. Gerrard Winstanley went further than Lilburn, who believed that land should belong to the organised communities that dwelt there, by claiming all the land was free to use for the benefit of all.

In the podcast, BB goes into the principles of ownership, and how much of past processes are still relevant today. William the Conqueror declared that all of Britain belonged to him - a situation that persists to this day. The King grants title to you as the landlord, but he retains the right to take it away. In the USA, land was stolen by force and trickery, or by the old principles espoused by Lilburn and Winstanley. If you have the ability to defend it, then it is yours. Good luck!

The Belgorod Brit keeps it relevant by discoursing on the battle of the Teutoberg Forest in 9 AD. In the film, he introduces us to Arminius, the proto-German, who tempted the Roman General Varus and his 3 Legions into the forests across the River Rhine and annihilated them. Arminius was a Romanized tribal leader, who learned enough about the Romans to defeat them.

In the podcast, BB goes into the psychological effect of the defeat on the elites of the Roman Empire, and their subsequent loss of confidence. Coupled with the transition to the imperial system and the rise of the court over the Senate, this defeat was the final nail in the meritocracy that had served Roman interests for the previous five centuries. Now it was proximity to the Emperor that afforded promotion. As a result, the elite families of Rome lost interest in the project and began to loot their own Empire. Even though the Iran debacle is only the latest in a string of military defeats for the American Empire, it may prove to be the moment when ordinary Americans stop believing in the project, and realise that elite power is now all about personal enrichment and proximity to the Emperor. If the Senate cannot impeach the President, or members of his regime, then the final nail will have been hammered into the coffin of the American experiment.

The Belgorod Brit is taking on the Houthis, only slightly more successfully than the Saudis. In the film, he introduces us to Imam Ahmad, who ruled Yemen between 1948 and 1962. More specifically, he recounts the surprising way in which he dealt with an attempted coup in 1955. The insight into internal Yemeni politics afforded by such escapades acts as a palate cleanser for BB"s attempt to explain the origins of Ansarallah.

In the podcast, BB goes into the historical context that gave rise to Ansarallah/the Houthis/the North Yemenis. Yemen is both 7,000 years old and 35 years old. They have a religion called Zaydi which is a branch of Shi'ia Islam. They have been controlled/not controlled by the Persians, the Romans, the Ottomans, the Portuguese, the British, and the Egyptians, as well as home-grown Shahs and Imams, and mountain tribal chiefs who occasionally participated in the Yemen project, and occasionally didn't. BB attempts to highlight the basic things you should be aware of when trying to understand what is going on in the most complex polity in the world. Add to this the fact that Aden was once the greatest port in the Indian Ocean, and that Yemen has been divided for most of the last 250 years, with the Northern half centred in Sana'a and the Southern portion around Aden.

Make Yemen great again! But questions include: what do you mean by Yemen; what do you mean by great; and who do you want to do it?

The Belgorod Brit goes back to the origins of the Federalist European project. In the film, he introduces the motivations behind the founding of the European project. Spinelli was just one of the founding fathers of Europe, but BB introduces us to the Godfather of the EU - Robert Schuman. Schuman was a Luxembourgois politician and lawyer, and a staunch Catholic.

In the podcast, BB goes further into the world inhabited by these men and why their project made perfect sense at the time, and why many contemporary politicians from all across Western Europe were willing to be part of it. BB reveals that the real dream of a common European home has much more in common with the Europe of Erasmus and the Renaissance than with any Communist plan. It was a project to revive a Europe before the Reformation, that could stand toe-to-toe with other powers and political ideas prominent at the time. It was an overt attempt to reimagine Europe as an orchestra playing the same tune.

The Belgorod Brit explains why we are now, if not engaged in WW3, then we are certainly working towards it. In the film, he describes the two major factions within the USA who are toying with their citizens. The oligarch globalists wish to farm them in order to power their financial empires, while the imperialist globalists wish to impoverish them in order to control the world militarily, subjugating everyone to maintain the status quo.

In the podcast, BB explains how the geopolitical situation resembles the kind of dynamic that led to all three wars of the 20th century. Nationalist aspirations are being frustrated in Europe, and inequality is fueling chaos in US society. Politicians have run out of positive ideas, and are now busy looting their own economies, or assisting the oligarchs to do so. The West is spiritually, morally and economically bankrupt - time to blame someone else and attack them.

The Belgorod Brit explains why the USA was so abundantly wealthy during the Cold War, and was able to bribe those who were reluctant to support their takeover of the British Empire. The petrodollar was an enormous slush fund accessible outside of the legal processes of the state and exploited by the CIA, among other Western clandestine organisations. In the film, BB explains how the petrodollar system was created, and how it adapted to the changing world after the 1973 Arab-Israeli conflict.

In the podcast, BB explains how the collapse of the petrodollar, among other things, has created the $40T debt. With the rise of alternatives to the dollar, the Empire cannot use its dollar hegemony. This, coupled with the failure of their military to force their decisions on others, means that the Empire is unsustainable, which includes the Israel project. The Belgorod Brit is back in sunny Belgorod and talks about the effect of religion on statecraft and warfare. In the film, he goes through the major religions, and their stance on violent conflict between countries.

In the podcast, BB takes a look at the politics of the Orthodox Church in Russia and Ukraine. Putin views the traditional religions as one of the pillars on which sovereign Russia is built. The Orthodox Church has returned the favour by naming the Ukrainian elites and their Western masters as fascists, and a force for evil. In effect, they have painted the Russian soldiers, of all faiths, as God's right hand. This has also created a common bond between the Iranian struggle against the hegemon and the Russian struggle to free the good people of Eastern Ukraine. He goes on to analyse why the Catholic Church cannot pretend to represent Western righteousness, or concepts of a just war, outside of Poland.

The Belgorod Brit explains why the presstitutes of Western mainstream media may be turning against Emperor Epstein, in spite of the column inches and money he generates for them. In the film, BB recounts the story of Trump and his use of the press as decoys in the fake Israeli concocted assassination attempt in Ankara. Instead of AF1 as his chose means of transport he chose CC1 as an inaugural alternative (explanation in the film).

In the podcast, BB charts the history of the 'Fifth Estate'. For centuries, since the advent of printing in the West, journalism has been regarded as a source of power in the polity. Since the end of the Cold War, the media has been co-opted into the corporate/political class and now works for the oligarchs who own them. Their belief that they were an integral part of the elite, does not coincide with their apparent expendability and sacrifice to Trump's whim. The truth is, now they have realised that they are just as important as the people they propagandise at.

The Belgorod Brit addresses the deteriorating living standards in the US Navy. In the film, he recounts the French Army mutiny on the Western Front in WW1. They refused to go on to the attack, but neither did they abandon the line. In the end, the soldiers' strike achieved nearly all their demands, and the soldiers regained their fighting spirit under new leadership.

In the podcast, BB compares the causes of the French mutiny with conditions on board the US Navy ships in the Indian Ocean. In the end, military people need strong, inspiring leadership, and a just cause they are willing to suffer for, activity, and effective logistics to allow them to carry on their mission, which is clearly defined. So far, they are 0 for 4, it would seem.

The Belgorod Brit returns to calm down the barbarian diaspora on the subject of China. In the film, he explains the motivation of the Chinese in juxtaposition to the barbarian mindset. The benign panda has an epochal understanding of history, deeply rooted in their all pervading Confucian and Buddhist cultural philosophy. Patience is a virtue alien to the Western political system.

In the podcast, BB corrects his mistaken attribution of a quote in the film and then goes on describe how little the Chinese care about the world outside of China. This has occasionally worked against their interests, during the Century of Shame for example, but these days, it simply means that they are quickly able to shrug off the insults and aggression of the dying European Empire. They will continue operating their country to their own benefit, regardless of the frustration caused to those who would like them to come off the fence and take sides (and finish) WW3 before it starts.
