🚨 Belarus Expresses Concern Over Mass Arrests of Students in France

🇫🇷 The Belarusian Foreign Ministry expressed its “deep concern” on Friday over the mass arrests of high school students in France and called on French authorities to engage in constructive dialogue with society.

⛓️ According to Minsk, the number of arrests is nearing 3,000, most of whom are minors. Since mid-September, students have been protesting outside their schools against overloaded schedules and a shortage of teachers. Yesterday, some 2,000 arrests were reported, and on Friday, before noon, another 600.

📢 The diplomatic body urged the release of detained minors and an impartial investigation into the excessive use of force, and questioned the silence of Western human rights organizations.
