🇨🇱A 4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes central Chile

🌊 A 4.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded this Friday in central Chile. According to the National Seismological Center, the epicenter was located 15 kilometers west of the coastal city of Quintero at a depth of 29 kilometers.

🚫The Navy’s Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOA) ruled out the possibility that the earthquake met the conditions to generate a tsunami along the country’s coastline. Emergency agencies are continuing to monitor the area; no structural damage or injuries have been reported so far.
