German Soldiers

Lieutenant Georg Straube! June 30, 1911, Hanover - October 16, 1999, Bad Nauheim/Hs
I can find almost no information about Lt Straube.
In the summer of '43 he served as an OFw and platoon leader in the Panzerjäger-Abteilung 18 (mot), which was attached to the 18th PGD.
Set up in Sagan in October '35, it became PJA 18 in March '40 and fought in the West.
During "Barbarossa" it was attached to PzGrp 3 in the HGr Mitte, fought at Bialystock, Minsk, on the Tikhvin and at Demjansk. In the summer of '43 the 18th PGD was at Jelnia, and finally perished at "Bagration" in the summer of '44.
I can't find anything about the actions that led to the awarding of the RK to the then OFw S.. Nor anything about his later life.
For the EKII and I he wore the Eastern Medal, RK 02.06.1943
