Ukrainian FPV operator killed on front

Valeria Stepanova, callsign "Demon" from the 432nd UAV Regiment, died in combat. Officially, she was hit by a Russian drone while leaving children behind.

In August 2026, she publicly accused command of the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade of sexual harassment, threats, and beatings. After going public, she was transferred to another battalion, but claimed abuse continued, including strangulation.

Volunteers demand an investigation into her death. Social media suspects involvement by command or colleagues.
