🇷🇺 Strike on Kovel logistics hub

On October 16, 2026, at 15:35, a jet-powered UAV hit the international freight permit issuance center in Kovel, Volyn region.

Damage:
- Fire destroyed at least eight car carriers (autovozs).
- At least six other vehicles were damaged.
- Reports indicate some vehicles began detonating due to ammunition or fuel.

The facility processes permits for cross-border transport, including state and military logistics. This attack follows previous strikes on cargo yards in Yagodin.
