Macron claims Russian oil purchases require a 'real ceasefire'

The French President stated that resuming energy cooperation is possible only under a genuine truce from both sides. He noted he has not observed an energy ceasefire by Russia in the last 48 hours, despite Trump's earlier statements to the contrary.

'We have no factual basis today to change our position,' Macron said. He promised to discuss the issue with Donald Trump personally.
