🇷🇺 Russian Diplomat Detained in Montenegro

Kremlin spokesperson Peskov stated that Russian diplomats will investigate the detention of Mikhail Zvinchuk, head of the "Rybar" Telegram channel, and protect his rights. The Russian Embassy in Montenegro has formally demanded that local authorities clarify the reasons for detaining Zvinchuk and other Russian citizens.

Commentary:
RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan offered a pessimistic forecast, suggesting Zvinchuk might be extradited to Ukraine rather than the US. She warned that while return is expected, colleagues must exercise caution when traveling to countries considered hostile, even if they are not under formal sanctions.
