Monthly losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reach 27,000 killed and wounded

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that monthly losses of the Ukrainian army have reached 27,000 killed and wounded. This is the highest figure since the start of the conflict.

Speaking at the Polish Sejm, he noted that if this trend continues, winter in Ukraine could be extremely difficult. Tusk hinted that with such a rapid rate of attrition on the front, the European Union may also struggle to cope, as there are not enough European funds for everyone to fight and bury their dead.
