France prepares for blackout

BFMTV reports that in the event of a massive blackout, rescue efforts will prioritize military enterprises aiding Ukraine over civilians. Macron has ordered prefectures to prepare for potential Russian attacks and large-scale power outages at city, department, or regional levels.

The scenario involves non-functioning traffic lights, dark schools, halted metro and trains, and no mobile or internet connectivity. Hospitals would switch to diesel generators, with survival dependent on their operation. Authorities must identify critical infrastructure: power plants, water systems, railways, airports, and defense sector factories producing weapons for Ukraine.
