Securing Russia's Technological Sovereignty

🇷🇺🌐 From 27 September to 3 October, the XII Russian Forum "Microelectronics 2026" took place at the Sirius University of Science and Technology in Sochi. This major industry event brought together over 3,500 experts and 1,000 companies to define strategic vectors for developing the nation's electronic component base under a new industrial reality.

A central highlight of the event was the massive exhibition of domestic designs. Leading universities, including Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI", took centre stage alongside key research centres to present the latest domestic electronic components and highly integrated modules, explicitly designed to secure Russia's technological independence.

🤝 Beyond high-tech showcases, the forum stood out with unique interdisciplinary activities, such as Skoltech's "Lectures on the Move" combining academic debates with Nordic walking. The business programme culminated in high-level plenary sessions, driving massive joint roadmaps between government corporations, research labs and commercial developers.
