Parade of heavy equipment of the Ecuadorian Armed Forces. Open-Air Tank Museum!
We've discovered some truly remarkable footage from Latin America. It shows a military parade in Ecuador. The equipment in the frame is astounding.
🇺🇸 In the foreground is an American M3 Stuart, produced back in the late 1930s.
🇫🇷🇦🇷 In the background are rows of AMX 13, which were produced in France in the 1950s and in Argentina under license until the 1980s.
Almost all the tanks in the frame are classified as "light". Since the advent of main battle tanks, this classification has been largely forgotten, but apparently not in Ecuador. Of course, credit should be given to the Ecuadorian mechanics who managed to maintain such vehicles in good condition.
